Principal’s Message:
Today was a day of celebration! After a three week behavior boost, we handed out over 50 prizes during lunch today and 23 students had a chance to compete against their teachers during our March Book Madness assembly. In addition to celebrating our students who earned CLAWs we also had a chance to honor our 3rd place finishers in this year’s District Battle of the Books, Cate Smeraglinolo, Ellie Gupana, Olivia Wallenius and Audrey Millar. Congratulations to these great readers who represented GMS at the district battle.
I hope everyone has a safe and relaxing Spring Break. As a reminder, our first attendance day after Spring Break is Tuesday, April 7th. Monday, April 6th is an institute day for staff only.
~Principal Jeff Modaff

Please visit www.gmspto.org and check back often for new information! If something is missing, please let us know!
PTO Board Meetings
All parents/guardians are invited to attend the PTO meetings. They are typically held the first Tuesday of the month at 7 pm in the teacher’s lounge. Our next meeting is Tuesday, April 14th. Please note this is the 2nd Tuesday.

Grizzly Running Club Spring Edition
Are you a fourth or fifth grade student who loves to run or just be active? Then, the Grizzly Running Club is just for you!
The Grizzly Running Club will be meeting before school Monday and Fridays, starting on March 20th. We will begin at 8:00 and go until 8:45. We will be meeting for 8 practices. Our culminating event will be a Flash Mob 5K along the River Walk Sunday, April 26th. This is an optional event and not required for joining. If you and your child would like to join us please join us by signing up though our google form linked.
The Grizzly Running Club is coached by Mrs. Gamlin and Mr. Clarey. Runners will need to come ready to run in comfortable and weather appropriate clothing. Runners can bring a water bottle.
Please note that if your child is also participating in Chorus they will do so on Mondays practices. They then can join us on Friday for our run. Please fill out this form so we can plan on how many students will be running with us on March 20th.
