Principal’s Message
WE FEEL APPRECIATED! Cards, notes, pictures, emails, flowers, gifts, lunches, gift cards and yes…even girl scout cookies! Our staff feels so loved and cared for. It has been a special week to remember.
A special thanks goes out to our PTO for planning such a wonderful week. I also wanted to acknowledge Girl Scout Troop 796 for their delicious donation to the school to wrap up an amazing five days of fun.
What we have heard a lot of this week are success stories from parents. Even though it was far from a typical year and the way students learned changed with the seasons, students still learned a lot and are thriving. In some ways, students learned more than in past years since remote learning required them to be more independent, organized and tech savvy. I also believe that our students appreciate their friendships and being a part of a community more than ever before. We have witnessed a lot of comradery, acceptance and inclusion of others, and overall kindness and respect in our classrooms. Thank you for hanging in there during hybrid learning and supporting your students in new ways this year. The end result is positive!
Have a wonderful weekend!

The Batavia Rehabilitation Center is seeking body wash, cans of pop, individually packaged bags of chips, lip balm, coloring books, candy bars, toothpaste, body spray, baseball caps/hats, elastic string, animal crackers, and candy for pinatas.
