Principal’s Message:
School is out for summer! We had so much fun together right up to the very last minute. Thank you parents for your partnership this year. It was an awesome school year full of learning, growing and special memories.
If you would like your child to do some additional learning this summer, please remember that your child can access IXL on their chromebooks up until July 31st. Your children know how to sign-in and use IXL for practice of skills. Even if students will not be skill-building on IXL, it will be important to keep chromebooks charged and put in a safe place (cool and dry) so they are ready to use in the new school year. Don’t forget the public library is another great tool for learning and growing during the summer months. Check out their June events here.
I wish all of you a very fun and healthy summer. We will miss all of you and look forward to seeing you in August!

PTO News:
End-of-Year Message from Your PTO
As the school year comes to a close, we want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you—our incredible parents, teachers, and volunteers at Grace McWayne—for your support, time, and dedication throughout the year. Some of our families are ending their time at GMS after 5, 10, or even 15 years and we want to thank you for your years of commitment to making Grace McWayne a great place!
From fun events and fundraisers to classroom support and community building, none of it would have been possible without your involvement. Together, we’ve helped create a nurturing, vibrant school environment where our students can thrive.
As we head into summer, we wish you all a safe, restful, and joyful break. We’re already excited for what the next school year will bring—and we hope you’ll join us again to make it even more memorable!
With gratitude,
Your Grace McWayne PTO Team
