Principal’s Message

This was such a fun week!  Students showed their school and community spirit in a variety of ways – outfits, hair, donating goods to the Batavia Food Pantry and even by making up cheers during recess!  Thank you to our PTO for organizing a great week for the students.

Our next big PTO sponsored event is the GMS Walk-a-thon.  Students will get a chance to spend time outside walking or running with friends while raising money for their school.  Please make sure to read all of the Walk-a-thon updates so your child is prepared for this special day.

The Walk-a-thon is the start of all kinds of important events during the month of October.  Goal Setting Conferences (Parent/Teacher Conferences), MAP testing, Watch DOGs Golf Outing, picture retakes, the Fall Book Fair, and of course, Halloween festivities are all coming up soon.  Great ready for a great Fall season at Grace McWayne.

Have a wonderful weekend!
