Principal’s Message:
It was an absolutely perfect day for a Walk-a-thon. Thanks goes out to all of our volunteers for making today a huge success. Although I predict that most students (and maybe a few parents) will need an early bedtime tonight, it was worth it. There were tons of smiles and laughter as we made our way around the 1-mile track (twice). We basked in the sunshine and boogied to the music and then ended with a rainbow.
Have a wonderful weekend!

PTO News:
WALK-A-THON
Our bi-annual walk-a-thon was today! The students had a blast and we’re thrilled to announce together we raised $11,032 – 147% of our $7500 school goal! The six classrooms with the highest average pledge total per student, earning a classroom celebration TBD by their teacher are: 1B, 1C, 2Wood, 3M, 4B, 5S. Thank you to everyone who volunteered, fundraised, donated, or helped in another way – we couldn’t have done it without you. A HUGE THANK YOU to Jessi Scurte and Taylor Cosentine for all of their hard work and co-chairing this event!
We NEED You!! – Open PTO Board & Committee Positions!
We need to fill these roles to continue with the events. Without a Fun Fair chair, we will not be able to have the event. Please consider if you could serve the school in this way or grab a friend and do it together! See below for open positions and if you are interested or have questions about the roles, please reach out to president@gmspto.org.
